Educate Uganda

Since 2010, the financial donations from the CL Werner Foundation have promoted educational opportunities for the students we serve. Its support also raised awareness in the Omaha community of the work Educate Uganda is doing and helped to increase our donor base

Retrieving Freedom

The CL Werner Foundation has continued to support Retrieving Freedom's Mission since 2012. Through the generosity of their gift in 2019, the Foundation assisted Retrieving Freedom to set a record year by placing 11 Service Dogs with children with Autism and 14 Veterans with disabilities. Since then, we have continued to change the lives of 9 more children with Autism and 11 Veterans with disabilities. With the support from the CL Werner Foundation and all Retrieving Freedom supporters, every placement is made at no cost to our clients.

Ronald McDonald House

The CL Werner Foundation has played a pivotal role in Ronald McDonald House Charities of Omaha’s Hope and Healing expansion.  Their 2019 grant helped to double RMHC in Omaha’s capacity, adding 20 rooms and 20,000 square feet to the existing space. The expansion also provided designated space for programming aimed to address basic needs including education, nutrition, alternative healing, and emotional welfare.
